Let’s Be A Force For Good.

TRUTH: money cannot buy you happiness. but it sure can empower you
to show up in the world in a BIG(GER) way.

As long as I can remember, I’ve had an undeniable need to be a contributor. My love language is gift-giving and so it’s only natural that it would manifest itself in my business.

That’s why 10% (or more) of my business’ gross income is committed to various non-profit initiatives. I often set my business financial goals based off of my desired giving goal for the year—that way my business values and motives are centered around hustle and heart, through and through.

Every man shall give as he is able, according to the blessing of the LORD your God which he has given you.

Deuteronomy 16:17

Here’s a bit about the nonprofits that I’m blessed to support:

King's Ransom

King’s Ransom King’s Ransom has raised over $500,000 to build 60 homes, provide fresh water, and give safe housing to children and families living in the poorest country in the western hemisphere. And we’ve been honored to be a part of it.

In 2014 my business was able to contribute the necessary funds to cover the supplies needed to build an entire home for a family in need. These homes are built with hurricane and earthquake resistant materials, metal roofs, a water catchment system, sanitation unit, and secure doors and windows.

Feeding America

“I was hungry and you gave me food; I was thirsty and you gave me drink; I was a stranger and you took me in; I was naked and you clothed me; I was sick and you visited me; I was in prison and you came to me.” – Matthew 25:35

Through the blessings of this business, we’ve been able to provide over 100,000 meals and counting. Sometimes I just have to pause and realize that a normal girl went from $100,000 in debt to being able to free herself from that financial bondage and open the floodgates of abundance and blessings on countless other people. Just shows you that miracles still happen if you believe enough to receive.

Tabitha’s Orphans Fund

In the United States we’re blessed to believe in whatever faith we choose: whether that’s God, Buddha, Elvis… whatever. It’s a very different story in Nigeria—where claiming Christian faith can result in death. Tabitha Evangel Ministries provides safe houses and training for new converts, particularly women who have fled from persecution in northern Nigeria. In the past three years, however, many orphans have come to their doors seeking help in the name of Christ. Tabitha’s resources are stretched to the brink and the need is great. Through our business, we’ve been thrilled to be able to provide tuition for 18 orphans for an entire year.

Read about the day God asked me to give my money away and how it provided an unintentional miracle to one of Tabitha’s orphans.
